Youth Programs

The goal of Central Presbyterian's Youth program is to provide tools and guidance to help our youth develop and articulate their relationship with God.  In todays's church we often learn how to be receivers more than givers, both materially and spiritually. Our goal is to lead our youth to be givers. They are encouraged to talk about their faith and to share their love of God with others through the missions of the church.

Youth Group meets every Sunday from 4-6 pm (except the last Sunday of the month). This is a time for food, fellowship and fun! The main goal of this group is to give our youth a safe space to better understand who they are and how to be with their peers. A small portion of the time is spent on discussing a current topic that is of interest to the youth and their faith. Supper is provided.

Donut Club meets every Sunday during the 10 am Sunday School hour (except the last Sunday of the month). This group is for youth, from grades 6-12. We study the Bible, looking at major events and people in the scriptures. Time is also given for prayer requests and concerns. Donut Club is a space for those who are looking to deepen their faith and to learn how to better articulate what they believe about God and the world.

Confirmation Class is open to all youth who are interested in learning more about the Bible, their personal relationship with God, the faith of the church and the church workings. This class is from November 20, 2011 - April 1, 2012.
